Johannesburg Wildlife Vet is a Non-Profit Company (NPC) and a Public Benefits Organisation (PBO). We rely on the generosity and support from our community and corporate sponsors. Running a NPC involves hard work and much needed funding! We provide our wildlife patients with the best care possible. As none have owners and we rely on generous donations to keep us up and running!
Aside from our wishlist, we have day-to-day running costs that we would love some assistance with as well as some rather pricey items that would make our treatment offering even better. No amount is too small, and we appreciate any sponsorship - over and above the suggestions here - sometimes even we don't dream big enough!
We are also a PUBLIC BENEFIT ORGANISATION (PBO), which means that donations to us, are tax deductible. If you would like to receive a Section 18A certificate for your company or in your personal capacity for a donation, please contact us.

SPONSOR A VEHICLE
We are desperate to have our own vehicle based at the hospital to assist with collecting compromised wildlife, as well as taking our patients to their pre-release enclosures and release sites. Often these area's are remote, and currently the staff rely on their personal vehicles to transport our patients.

SPONSOR OUR INSECT BILL
As our focus is on ensuring our patients can return to the wild, optimal diets and food that resembles what they may find in the wild is VERY important to us. Many of our wildlife patients are insect eaters, or may rely on insects in the wild to supplement their diets. While we have secured a reliable source of insects, we are currently spending around R10 000 PER MONTH on insects! This amount does fluctuate, depending on our current clinic patients as well as the season we are in - a busier season would necessitate a larger order.

As our hospital grows, we have an increasing need of an extra pair of hands to assist us with the day-to-day running of our hospital. Having a dedicated person to assist with property maintenance and keeping our clinic clean is important.

Medical supplies and day-to-day running costs add up, and we could not save our wildlife without community support and generous donations. Our current day-to-day running costs are around R330 000 per month!
