These Black-backed jackal pups (Canis mesomelas) were found stuck in a storm water drain on the Century construction site. After our team creatively created a noose, we headed out to assist these pups. As the mom had been spotted nearby, these pups were safely retrieved and released into a nearby area with thick shrubbery, where they were happily reunited with her.
